Hi, I’m Mupasanta!
I was born in Malang, a mountainous city in East Java, Indonesia. My first exposure to space came unexpectedly—an old secondhand encyclopedia titled The Universe and Weather, given to me when I was in 4th grade. It was the first book that made the sky feel bigger than what I could see, and it stayed with me even as life moved in different directions.
Over time, I found myself naturally drawn to engineering. After high school, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Brawijaya University, with a focus on control systems. During this time, I explored sensors, actuators, modeling, and controllers—working with systems like DC motors and temperature control, and learning the foundations that would shape my technical perspective.

From circuits to constellations—I didn’t change paths, I expanded them.
I later continued my studies in Space Engineering at TU Berlin, where I developed a deeper understanding of spacecraft systems. My current work focuses on satellite attitude determination and control, with experience in sensor fusion, filtering, and actuator control involving reaction wheels and magnetorquers. I am also interested in more advanced topics such as proximity operations and formation flight.
If any of my work aligns with your interests, or if you’d like to exchange insights, feel free to reach out via email:
